Xiao 箫

The xiao is a traditional Chinese vertical bamboo flute, known for its soft, mellow tone and expressive range. Typically made from a single piece of bamboo, it features five or six finger holes and is played by blowing across the top. The xiao has a history of over 2,500 years and is often associated with reflective and serene music, evoking feelings of nature and tranquility.
